B.L.U.E. - G.R.E.E.N. Academy (BGA) is a free public charter middle school in Winston-Salem, N.C., opening to grades 5 & 6 in August 2019. By adding one grade level each year, BGA will serve grades 5 - 8 by 2021.
We offer single-gender reading, math and science classes, cultural awareness workshops, and cooperative learning strategies in order to enforce a student-led learning experience.
BGA will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students, focusing greatly on the relationships built with all school stakeholders. A culture of leadership stresses the importance of people management and entrepreneurship.
